VOLUNTEER WITH US!
Nextdoor ARI is a small team of volunteers working to support other emerging artists and creatives. We’d love to open our team to a broader variety of people to help share this workload, provide more professional experience for early-career artists / art workers, and increase our (already lovely) community! GENERAL VOLUNTEERS - BAR / INVIGILATION
This position requires you to be available to help serve drinks at events and/or to gallery sit every couple of months. This role also involves assisting the team with setting up spaces for exhibition openings and general events. It's a great way to get to meet our community! WRITERS
When possible, we like to couple artists with writers who share similar interests. Because of this, we are always looking for more early-career arts writers to work with us and our artists to create intriguing exhibition texts available at exhibitions and online. PHOTOGRAPHERS
Our website and social media (as well as our artists) all rely on photographic content. As a photographer, you would be contacted to document opening events and exhibitions/artworks. Whilst we are keen to provide a professional learning experience for volunteers, we are also a group of close friends who hope to make others feel welcomed in our community.
